Location of the municipality of Inning a.Holz in the district of Erding

Inning am Holz (officially: Inning a.Holz ) is a municipality in the eastern district of Erding ( administrative district of Upper Bavaria ). The place of the same name is both the capital and the seat of the municipal administration.

geography

The village of Inning am Holz is located in the wooded and hilly Erdinger Holzland north of the Große Vils, about 15 km east of the district town of Erding , 27 km from Munich Airport , 22 km from Moosburg an der Isar , 28 km each from Landshut and Vilsbiburg and 14 km from Dorfen away. The regionally important federal highway 388 passes south of the village .

Since 1972, the year of the municipal reform, the population has increased by 666 people until 2015. This corresponds to a growth of 84.30 percent. In the last ten (five) years the population increased by 3.93 (1.39) percent.

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,104 to 1,477 by 373 inhabitants or by 33.8%.

Since 1978 Inning makes the wood together with the communities Hohenpolding , Kirchberg and stone churches , the administrative body stone churches . First mayor is Michaela Mühlen.

	Blazon : “Above a three-mountain split bysilver and green,split by red and silver; in front three silver ram's horns one above the other, behind a growing green fir tree. " The coat of arms was established on June 2, 1980. The design comes from Peter Ziller.

Inning St. Stephen

There are four church buildings in Inning am Holz and the associated districts:

• Parish church St. Stephanus in Inning am Holz, built in 1903/04. The church was consecrated on April 6, 1904 by Archbishop Franz Joseph von Stein .
• Filial church St. Maria in Adlberg, built in the second half of the 15th century
• Filial church St. Jakobus in Großwimpasing, built around 1725
• Filial church St. Georg in Ottering, built in 1703
