Walpertskirchen is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and a member of the Hörlkofen administrative community .

geography

location

Walpertskirchen is located in the Munich region about eight kilometers southeast of the district town of Erding , 15 km west of Dorfen , 24 km north of Ebersberg , 40 km northeast of the state capital Munich and 20 km from Munich Airport. The central location lies between the Strogen in the west and the Hammerbach, which flows a little north from the east, in the east.

The community has a train station on the Munich – Mühldorf railway line , which is served at least every hour.

history

Until the church is planted

The oldest documented mention of the place comes from the year 749, when an amilo transferred his property to the church in Freising . Walpertskirchen belonged to the Landshut Rent Office and the Erding Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria. There were close manorial ties to the Hochstift Freising and its collegiate monastery Isen. The Türndl family held the noble seat in Deuting in the 15th and 16th centuries. In 1818 today's community was established.
