Strögen is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Bernhard-Frauenhofen in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 24 building areas with 16,149 m² and 31 gardens on 38,960 m² in the cadastral community of Strögen , in 1989/1990 there were 38 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 60 and in 2009/2010 there were 56 buildings on 130 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 122 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 15 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 126 hectares and 15 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 120 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 15 hectares. The average soil climate number of Strögen is 56.6 (as of 2010).
