Frauenhofen is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Bernhard-Frauenhofen in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 118 building areas with 63,569 m² and 134 gardens on 115,191 m² in the cadastral community of Frauenhofen , in 1989/1990 there were 172 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 330 and in 2009/2010 there were 251 buildings on 539 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 612 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 29 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 582 hectares and 35 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 555 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 38 hectares. The average number of soil climates in Frauenhofen is 55 (as of 2010).
