St. Bernhard is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of St. Bernhard-Frauenhofen in the Horn district in Lower Austria and is located on the Great Taffa .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 107 building areas with 63,696 m² and 114 gardens on 148,662 m² in the cadastral parish of St. Bernhard , in 1989/1990 there were 127 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 218 and in 2009/2010 there were 197 buildings on 423 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 527 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 370 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 523 hectares and 369 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 488 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 372 hectares. The average soil climate number of St. Bernhard is 37.3 (as of 2010).
