Groß Burgstall is a locality and, as Großburgstall, a cadastral municipality of the municipality of St. Bernhard-Frauenhofen in the Horn district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 66 building areas with 43,885 m² and 92 gardens on 115,628 m² in the cadastral community Großburgstall , in 1989/1990 there were 88 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 152 and in 2009/2010 there were 113 buildings on 288 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 455 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 59 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 459 hectares and 60 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 443 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 60 hectares. The average soil climate number of Großburgstall is 57.1 (as of 2010).
