Neuching is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and a member of the Oberneuching administrative community .

history
Administrative affiliation
Neuching was part of the Munich Rent Office and the Swabian Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria. The place was the seat of a main team (for both Ober- and Niederneuching).
Place name
The settlement name is 771 (copy of the 11th century) as Niuhinga , 782 (copy of 824) as Niuuihingas , 940 as Niuhinga , 1100 as Niuchingan , ... 1452 as Oberneuching ... attested.
The personal name * Niwicho , which is derived from the affiliation suffix -ing , is to be developed.
Incorporations
The municipality of Neuching was newly formed on January 1, 1970 through the merger of the then independent municipalities of Oberneuching and Niederneuching.

He was elected mayor in the 2020 local elections, replacing Hans Peis from his mayor's office.
