Finsing is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding .

Finsing is located in the Munich region on the southern edge of the Erdinger Moos and immediately east of the Ismaninger reservoir around 25 km northeast of the state capital Munich , 13 km southwest of the district town of Erding , 21 km north of Ebersberg and 23 km from Munich Airport.

The community consists of the districts of Finsing, Neufinsing , Eicherloh , Vorderes Finsingermoos , Hinteres Finsingermoos , Brennermühle and Finsingerau . There is only the Finsing district .

history
Until the church is planted
The local noble family of the Finsinger has been traceable since the beginning of the 15th century. These Finsinger called themselves Widerspacher since the middle of the 15th century and held one of the noble seats in Finsing until 1663. The Benedictine Abbey of Tegernsee also played an important role as the manor in the municipality from the 8th century until the secularization of 1803. Finsing belonged to the Munich Rent Office and the Swabian Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria and was the seat of a main team. In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

Since 1972, the year of the municipal reform, the population has increased by 2393 people until 2015. This corresponds to a growth of 116.50 percent. In the last ten (five) years the population increased by 10.13 (6.31) percent.
Between 1988 and 2018, the municipality grew from 2,533 to 4,695 by 2,162 inhabitants or 85.4%.

The local council consists of the first mayor and 16 local council members, with the largest parliamentary group being provided by the CSU (4 members).

Max Kressirer ( WGE ) has been the first mayor of the municipality since May 1st, 2008 . He replaced Heinrich Krzizok from the WGN . Andreas Wimmer ( FWF ) has been the second mayor since 2014 . The third mayor is Gertrud Eichinger (SPD)

The coat of arms of the municipality of Finsing was established on October 15, 1963. It has the following blazon : "In silver, a red sloping bar covered with three silver heraldic roses with golden lugs, accompanied by a red ram's horn at the top and a green sea leaf at the bottom." Next to the coat of arms, the community carries a flag, which divides the colors green and White shows.
Community finances
The municipal tax revenue in 1999 amounted to the equivalent of € 1960 thousand, of which the trade tax income (net) amounted to the equivalent of € 570 thousand.

Industry, trade and commerce
According to official statistics, there were 267 employees at the place of work in the manufacturing sector and 49 in the trade and transport sector. There were a total of 1,443 employees at the place of residence subject to social security contributions. There was one company in the manufacturing sector and twelve companies in the main construction sector.
Agriculture and Forestry
According to official statistics, there were 22 employees at the place of work in 1998 in agriculture and forestry. In other economic areas, 77 people were employed at the place of work subject to social security contributions. In 1999 the agricultural area was 1612 ha; of which 1265 hectares were arable land.
While there were 66 farms in 1999, their number had fallen to 51 by 2010.

traffic
There is a connection to the S-Bahn in the neighboring villages of Markt Schwaben (five kilometers) and Poing (six kilometers), the A 94 ( Forstinning junction ) is around eight kilometers and the A 99 ( Kirchheim junction ) eleven kilometers away.

The Neufinsing power plant is located at the outflow of the Ismaninger reservoir near Neufinsing .

In 1999 the following institutions existed:
