Wörth is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and a member of the Hörlkofen administrative community .

Wörth is located in the Munich region in the Sempt valley between the district town of Erding and Markt Schwaben (both 8 km away) and 22 km west of Dorfen , 21 km south of Munich Airport , 23 km north of Ebersberg and around 33 km from the state capital Munich away.
Districts
There are the municipality parts Berg, Breitötting, Hofsingelding, Hörlkofen , Kirchötting, Lupperg, Maiszagl, Niederwörth, Rottmann, Sankt Kolomann, Sonnendorf, Teufstetten, Willgruber, Wifling and Wörth.
The only demarcation is Wörth.
history
Until the church is planted
Wörth was mentioned for the first time in 788 as "Weride". The place belonged to the Landshut Rent Office and to the Erding Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria , the landlord was the Bishop of Freising until the secularization in 1803 .
From 1818
In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818.
On March 27, 2016, the parish church of St. Peter was damaged by fire.
Administrative community
In 1978 the municipalities of Wörth and Walpertskirchen formed the Hörlkofen administrative community. In 2000 the center of Hörlkofen was redesigned. A new town hall of the administrative community was also located here.

The coat of arms of the municipality of Wörth was laid down on February 20, 1967: "In gold, a raised, upright and a lowered, fallen blue corrugated rafters, which enclose a floating, red-crowned Mohrenkopf."
In addition to the coat of arms, the municipality carries a flag with the colors yellow-blue-yellow.

In 1998, according to official statistics, there were 189 in the manufacturing industry and in the trade and transport sector no employees subject to social security contributions at the place of work. In other economic areas, 73 people were employed at the place of work subject to social security contributions. There were a total of 1468 employees at the place of residence subject to social security contributions. There were none in the manufacturing sector and eight in the construction sector. In addition, in 1999 there were 67 farms with an agricultural area of 1363 hectares, of which 1016 hectares were arable land and 341 hectares were permanent green space.

The Munich – Simbach and Markt Schwaben – Erding railway lines run through the municipality of Wörth . Bus transport
The community of Wörth is located in the tariff area of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV). The municipality is connected to the public transport network by two bus routes. Line 445 runs from Ebersberg via Hohenlinden , Forstern , Pastetten , Hörlkofen and Wörth to Erding. The bus line only runs every two hours from Monday to Friday. The other line is a call taxi of the MVV with the line number 5670. The line runs from Walpertskirchen via Wörth to Erding. It only runs on Fridays and Saturdays.
