The Erding Station is the eastern terminus of the S-Bahn line 2 and the end point of Markt Schwaben-Erding railway . The Erdinger Ringschluss will become a third airport S-Bahn from the Markt Schwaben / Erding area. The train operation was recorded on May 28, the 1,972th
history
The railway line from Markt Schwaben to Erding was opened on November 16, 1872. In 1970 the line and with it the station were electrified.
construction
There is a largely covered central platform here. At the north end it is at ground level, at the south end via an underpass with access from the bus platform of the ZOB and from the east side. The former house platform has no traffic function. There is a central bus station with 14 bus platforms at the station forecourt . At the northeast end of the station there was a siding to the Erding Air Base .
Both the reception building and a former goods shed are available today (2018).
