history

The coat of arms was designed by the Munich heraldist Josef Strobl . The government of Upper Bavaria approved the use of the coat of arms by the municipality with a resolution of July 7, 1975.

Foundation of the coat of arms

For the coat of arms of the new community of Neuching, which was merged from the communities of Oberneuching and Niederneuching, motifs from the earlier community coats of arms were used: For Oberneuching, the blue Gugel refers to the old, locally important landlord of the Neuching von Oberneuching, which became extinct in 1695 in the male line. For Niederneuching, the silver knife stands as a traditional coat of arms symbol of a local noble family from the Middle Ages.
