Ultra high
Ultrahigh was a German techno music project by producers Cem Oral (“Jammin Unit”, also a member of Air Liquide ) and Roger Cobernus (“Kerosene”). The group has released various singles and albums since 1993. Ultrahigh was the best-known joint project of the two musicians, but they also produced music together under other pseudonyms such as Restgeraeusch , Titanium Steel Screws , Vene and Zulutronic .
history
Cem Oral, best known under his pseudonym “Jammin Unit”, met Roger Cobernus alias “Kerosene” in the early 1990s. After the first joint publications under the project names Vene and Titanium Steel Screws , the first publications appeared as Ultrahigh in 1994 . The first self-titled album was released in 1994 on Dragnet Records. In 1995 he switched to the Frankfurt label Force Inc. Music Works , on which the second album The View Of Ultrahigh and the single The Revenge Of The Maya Gods were released.
The last release Fibonacci came out in 2003 on Woody's label Fumakilla .
Oral and Cobernus also founded the Frankfurt record label Pharma in early 1995, on which, in addition to publications by the two founders, works by Loisaida Sisters ( Electric Indigo and Can Oral ), DMX Krew (Edward Upton), Bad Street Boy (Mathis Mootz) and Air Liquide appeared . The label was discontinued in 2000.
