Woody , actually Naoufel Ksaier (born 14 July 1972), is a German techno - DJ -musician Tunisian descent.

Life

Woody was active in Munich's hip-hop and sprayer scene from the mid-1980s . He has been a DJ since 1988. In the early 1990s he moved to Berlin , where he was best known as a resident DJ in the E-Werk techno club. He also performed regularly in the vault .

In 2000 Woody founded his own record label Fumakilla , on which, in addition to his own releases, records by Tulasonic ( Adel Hafsi , Roger Cobernus ), Autotune , Lars Sommerfeld , Ultrahigh , The Dose , Paul Ritch and Livio & Roby were released. With his remix of the Kissogram track If I Had Known This Before he produced one of the club hits of 2001, which in January of the following year also climbed to number 60 in the German single charts.

His album Selected Works 2002–2006 was released in 2008 on DJ Hell's record label International Deejay Gigolos . Two years later, the DJ mix album 10 Years Fumakilla followed on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his label . Woody also worked as a remixer and provided reworking of tracks by the artists 2raumwohnung (We met in a garden) , Felix da Housecat (Madame Hollywood) , Lars Sommerfeld (Beat Rock Two) , Autotune (Dirty) and DJ T. (The Dawn) .
