Electric Kingdom was a record label founded in the late 1990s. It was a sub-label of Low Spirit , which was based in Berlin and partly owned by the DJ WestBam .

This is electro , a style of music that emerged from electro funk and is related to hip-hop and Miami bass . The typical electro rhythm forms the basis. The New York DJ Afrika Bambaataa plays a major role as a source of inspiration. In addition to the synthesizer sounds, influences from other musical styles such as rock are often added. On the LP New World Order by Mr. X & Mr. Y from 1999 the influences extend to classical music . This mixture is given the name Technolectro . There have always been performances by the artists under the name Electric Kingdom . They were regulars at some events like Love Parade and Mayday . Tours took place between 1998 and 2004, which carried the motto of the compilations brought out . In 2004 there were extra appearances at the Sputnik Turntable Days and Berlinova festivals. With the end of the parent label Low Spirit in 2006, Electric Kingdom was also discontinued.
