Thomas Koch (* 1969 in Düsseldorf ), also known as DJ T. , works as a DJ , producer , organizer , club operator, label manager, publisher and journalist in the electronic music scene .

Thomas Koch grew up in Frankfurt. Koch's DJ career began in the 1980s, and from the early 1990s he called himself DJ T. In 1989, Koch founded Groove magazine, which he headed until 2004.

Koch was resident DJ in the Music Hall, and also played at Dorian Gray , among others . In the 1990s he was regularly heard and seen in the box under the Frankfurt Schauspielhaus. He was also represented in the Hr3 clubnight . In 1999, Koch opened Club Monza with Patrik Dechent and other partners .

In 2000 Koch produced the track Monsterbaze , a co-production with Steve Bug on his label Poker Flat Recordings . In 2002 the Berlin label Get Physical Music was created . The collective consists of six producers from the electronic music and club culture scene. In addition to Koch, there are the DJ and producer team Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung and the producers and studio operators Booka Shade . His debut album Boogie Playground was released in 2005 after moving from Frankfurt to Berlin.
