Adel Hafsi

Adel Hafsi (* 13. May 1971 ) is a techno - music producer , who is also under pseudonyms such as Adel Dior , Amanda Amour or Sandokan is known. Hafsi is a member of the groups Autotune , Die Raketen , Miami Black Palms, Sono Tab, Spreeathen, Tulasonic and UMO.

Life

Hafsi has been producing electronic music since the mid-1990s. For the 100th release of the Frankfurt cult label Force Inc. Music Works FIM 100 , which appeared in 1996, he produced the piece Discodesease together with Cem Oral from the band Air Liquide . In the same year Hafsi founded the UMO (Unidentified Musical Objects) project with Oral and Terrible , which released three albums between 1996 and 2000.

With Dirk Lunkenheimer, known as Curtis IC , Hafsi founded the Sono Tab project , which released three EPs on Beroshima's label Müller Records and Tom Clark's label Gold Plate Music .

Together with Jan-Eric Scholz, he founded the Autotune project in 1999 . In 2000 the debut album Ladyshaker was also released on Müller Records . Other singles appeared on labels such as BPitch Control , Low Spirit , Fumakilla and Force Tracks.

Together with Scholz and Alexander Gerlach alias Lexy von Lexy & K-Paul , Hafsi founded the pop project Die Raketen in 2003 , whose debut album Ahoi was released in 2004 by Low Spirit. The single Tokyo, Tokyo penetrated the German charts in 2003. With the band Hafsi represented the state of Saxony in 2006 at the Bundesvision Song Contest . There the group took the penultimate place with the piece pop song .

Another project by Hafsi, Scholz and Gerlach is Miami Black Palms , which released four EPs on Ghetto Charge Music between 2003 and 2005 .
