The rockets is a band consisting of the artists Mickey DueChamp , Adel (formerly known as Sandokan ) and Janni Gagarin . Their works can be classified as electronic pop music . Lexy from Lexy & K-Paul , Adel Dior and Tony Planet from Autotune are behind the stage names . The trio also forms the Miami Black Palms house project .
The singles of the rockets were to Friendship music , a subsidiary label released by Low Spirit Recordings.
In 2006 the band represented the state of Saxony at the Bundesvision Song Contest , but only achieved 15th of a total of 16 places. Only the band AK4711 were able to leave the rockets behind.
