Walerian Walerianowitsch Obolensky (also N. Osinski ; born March 25 . Jul / 6. April  1887 greg. In the Official lgov ; † 1. September 1938 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary and Soviet economic leaders.

Obolensky, Bolshevik since 1907, was a member of the Supreme Council for National Economy of the Russian Soviet Republic and the People's Commissariat for Agriculture . In October 1923 he was one of the signatories of the Declaration of 46 . During the first five-year plan, chairman of the All-Soviet Association for the Automobile and Tractor Industry. Significantly jointly responsible for the agreement on technical cooperation with the Ford Motor Company of May 1929, on the basis of which the "auto giant" GAS (Gorkowski Awtomobilny Sawod) was established in Nizhny Novgorod . In 1938 he fell victim to the Stalinist purges .
