The Schörgenbach is a 13 km long tributary of the Middle Isar north of Munich . It begins as a noodle ditch together with the Goldach on the Ismaninger reservoir at the level of the western border of the BMW measurement site there . After a northward stretch of flow of around two kilometers through the Unterföhringer Moos , the brook turns west, passes under the federal highway 388 near the Ismaningen industrial area Lenzenfleck and enters the Isar floodplain west of Fischerhäuser . There it runs as a floodplain parallel to the Isar. It flows into it immediately south of the bridge on the district road FS 44 ( Hallbergmoos - Neufahrn ).

The Schörgenbach is located in the FFH area "Trenches and Moor Rests in Erdinger Moos " and is named in the corresponding area concept as the habitat of the Helmet-Azurjungfer . In the area of the Isar floodplains, beavers also settled on the Schörgenbach and, due to the special soil conditions, let it fall completely dry in places.
