  • The national highway 195 (abbreviation: B 195 ) is a federal highway in Germany . It leads from Zarrentin am Schaalsee south to Boizenburg / Elbe and from here up the Elbe to the east. It ends in Wittenberge on the B 189 .

The federal highway 195 begins in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , then runs in the northeastern part of Lower Saxony , again a short distance in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and further into Brandenburg .

During the season, the B 195 is increasingly frequented by motorcyclists. The section between Boizenburg / Elbe through the municipality of Amt Neuhaus to Dömitz is particularly popular , as the route here is very narrow for federal road conditions and has a large number of tight curves.

    history

The national highway 195 (R 195) had a very different course to the end of the 1940s. In Western Pomerania it led from the R 105 in Löbnitz in a northerly direction via Barth to Zingst . It was graduated and the free number was assigned to today's federal road as F 195 .
