The German federal highway 307 (abbreviation: B 307 ) is in Upper Bavaria . The road leads on two short sections over Austrian territory.

course

The B 307 runs in three sections from west to east along the northern edge of the Alps. It is interrupted for around 8 km between Gmund and Miesbach and for around 25 km between the town of Tatzelwurm, where the Tatzelwurm waterfall is located, and the Austrian border at Schleching .

The western section begins in Vorderriß , leads over the Sylvenstein reservoir , then over the Achenpass along the Weißach to Tegernsee and ends in Gmund am Tegernsee. A short section (approx. 300 m) of the western part leads over Austrian territory, another approx. 1300 m long section is the Austrian Achenseestrasse B 181.

The middle section leads from the Miesbach bypass of the B 472 via Hausham , Schliersee , Bayrischzell and the Sudelfeld to the place Tatzelwurm above Oberaudorf .

The eastern section begins about 25 km further east near Marquartstein . It leads via Schleching to the Austrian border near Kössen .

Adjoining toll roads

In the logical continuation of the road there are toll roads : from Vorderriß in a westerly direction to Wallgau and from Tatzelwurm in a north-easterly direction to Brannenburg .
