Hammer is a village in the municipality of Fischbachau in the Miesbach district in Bavaria and a district in the Fischbachau district in the southern municipality. Hammer lies at 756  m above sea level. NHN two kilometers southwest of the main town. The name "Hammer" is derived from an iron smelter that operated there until 1700.

Transport links

The Fischbachau stop on the Schliersee – Bayrischzell railway line is in Hammer. Accordingly, bus lines and taxis also stop here. The "Wendelstein Ring Line" also stops here. This bus line goes around the Wendelstein twice a day .
