The German federal highway 259 (abbreviation: B 259 ) leads from Ulmen in a south-easterly direction through Büchel and Faid to Cochem on the Moselle .

course

The B 259 begins at Ulmen, directly at the feeder to the Ulmen junction of the A 48 , as a continuation of the federal highway 257 . It runs further south-east and leads past Auderath - again and again going through small forests . After bypassing the air base , the street crosses Büchel . Still passing fields south-east, the B 259 now extends through Faid and finally west through a forest. Shortly before the end, the road runs along the edge of Sehl . Drifting north again, the B 259 joins the federal highway 49 at a roundabout directly on the banks of the Moselle , not far from Cochem .
