Course of the road
|
The federal highway 452 (abbreviation: B 452 ) is a German federal highway in the north of Hesse . With a total length of around 8 kilometers, it is one of the shortest federal highways in Germany. The B 452 runs through the Werra-Meißner district on the entire route .
course
The B 452 is the southern connection of the district town of Eschwege to the federal highway 27 . The federal road begins at the roundabout near the train station and the federal road 249 and initially leads through the urban area of Eschwege. Up to the Hessenring industrial area, this is consistently expanded to three lanes. Then the B 452 runs past fields as a single lane federal road in each direction. After crossing the village of Reichensachsen (municipality of Wehretal), it ends at an intersection with federal highways 27 and 7 .
Planned construction project
The B 452 runs for a length of around 1.5 kilometers through the locality of Reichensachsen. A bypass is planned for this.
The connection to the B452 is in the area of the junction of the L3403 to Oberhone. From there, the planned bypass leads west and passes the sewage treatment plant on the northern side. The weirs and the Göttingen – Bebra railway line are crossed by bridge structures before the connection to the federal highway 27.
