The federal highway 430 (abbreviation: B 430 ) is an east-west connection between the district of Steinburg and the district of Plön in the southern part of Schleswig-Holstein .

It begins on the A 23 near Schenefeld and first leads via Aukrug to the A 7 , which it crosses at Neumünster- Mitte. Further east of Neumünster it crosses the A 21 at Bornhöved and now leads through the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park via Ascheberg (Holstein) and Plön (junction with the B 76 ) to Lütjenburg (confluence with the B 202 ) on the Hohwacht Bay of the Baltic Sea .
