The federal highway R (abbreviation: B R ) was a replacement federal highway established around 1969 in West Berlin . With a total length of around 24 kilometers, it ran from the Bösebrücke border crossing point in Berlin's Wedding district to Silbersteinstrasse in the Neukölln district and was gradually replaced by the A 100 (then A 10) until 1987 . The course as a ring should explain the designation with an R (compare federal road E and federal road S ) .
