Bundesstrasse 192
The federal highway 192 (abbreviation: B 192 ) is an approximately 160 kilometer long federal highway in Mecklenburg . It begins in Zurow near Wismar at the junction of the A 20 and ends in Neubrandenburg .
course
On the route from Karow via Waren (Müritz) to Neubrandenburg , the B 192 runs through the Mecklenburg Lake District . An approximately four kilometer long section runs as a bypass of Malchow on the federal highway 19 between the interchanges Malchow and Waren (Müritz). From the Malchow Monastery to Sietow, the B 192 is part of the Deutsche Alleenstraße .
Due to the high volume of traffic during the holiday season and also for a smoother transport of large ship propellers of Mecklenburg Metallguss aus Waren, an expansion is planned. Specifically, the lane between Waren and the Malchow junction to the motorway is to be widened by another lane. For this purpose, as well as for the ship propeller transport, parts of the avenue planting were cut down in 2006.
history
In 1848 the road from Karow to Malchow was built . The "Art Route" from Neubrandenburg via Penzlin to Waren was completed in 1849. Around 1937 this street became Reichsstraße 192. At that time it began at Kritzowburg at Reichsstraße 105.
