The federal road 319 (abbreviation: B 319 ) is a German federal road , it leads from Berchtesgaden , branching off from the B 305 over the Salzberg to the Obersalzberg and from there over the Oberau back down into the Berchtesgadener district Unterau, where it again into the B 305 opens. The Roßfeldhöhenringstraße branches off from the main road and joins the Obersalzberg again. The section between the B 305 in Berchtesgaden and the Obersalzberg was previously run independently as the B 425 .
In the section over the Salzberg, the federal road has significant gradients of up to 26%. The Obersalzberg documentation on the importance of the place during the Nazi era and the Kehlstein departure point is located on the plateau .
