Altdürnbuch is a district of the community Biburg in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

Altdürnbuch is located in the Hallertau about one kilometer west of Biburg.
history
The Altdürnbuch community emerged in 1818 from the tax district of the same name and belonged to the Abensberg district court . Apart from Altdürnbuch, districts were Etzenbach and Rappersdorf. On January 1, 1978, the municipality of Altdürnbuch was incorporated into the municipality of Biburg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . As of January 2, 2013 Altdürnbuch had 128 inhabitants.
Attractions
- Filial church St. Margaretha. The Romanesque building from around 1300 received a Gothic vault in the chancel in the 14th century. The church was baroque and expanded around 1700. The altar contains carved figures of St. Margaretha, Walburga and Maria around 1520. There are also remains of Gothic wall paintings.
