The Saarland circular hiking trail leads 273 kilometers around the Saarland . The path is marked with a vertically halved square that is colored red on the left and white on the right. In addition to the main route, there are two extra loops on the Moselgau (northern Saargau ) and in the Bliesgau .

Essential points on the Saarland circular hiking trail are Saarbrücken , St. Ingbert , Homburg , St. Wendel , the Bostalsee , Nonnweiler , Weiskirchen , Mettlach , Orscholz , Siersburg , Berus , the Warndt , Völklingen and finally Saarbrücken again.

The Moselgau loop (42 km) leads from Orscholz via Nennig and Perl back to Orscholz.

The Bliesgau loop (60 km) begins in Kirkel , goes via Blieskastel , Gersheim and Gräfinthal to St. Ingbert .
