The Route National 33 , just north 33 or RN 33 , is a French national road .

The street number was added to the national road network in 1824. It goes back to Route Imperial 38. Their length was 94 kilometers. Until 1973 the road ran between La Ferté sous Jouarre and Châlons-en-Champagne . National Road 33 served as a parallel stretch of National Road 3 running south .

In 1973, the entire route of National Road 33 was downgraded to Department Road and has since been numbered D 933. With the downgrading of the original route, the number was assigned to National Road 3 A , a side branch of National Road 3. For today's course see there.
