The Route nationale 145 , or N 145 or RN 145 for short , is a French national road .

Current course of the road

The current national road 145 begins at Bellac and leads via a junction to Autobahn 20 and Guéret to Montluçon . There it merges into the 714 motorway , which continues to the motorway triangle with the 71 motorway.

From Montluçon to La Souterraine, the road is part of the central section of the Center-Europe-Atlantique route , the rest belongs to the northwest branch of this axis. The entire national road 145 is to be expanded into an expressway in the future.

Historic course of the road

The historic national road was laid between Guéret and Moulins in 1824. This tour goes back to route 165 impériale. In 1973 it was extended from Guéret to Bellac . To do this, it took over the route of national road 142 to Maubert and the route of national road 151bis to Bellac :

In 1981 it was led from Le Montet on a newly built road to Toulon-sur-Allier and the route was graduated to Moulins.

In 1999 the national road was led via the north bypass of Montluçon to the motorway 71 and the new road taken over in 1981 was signposted as national road 79 . The section between Montluçon and Le Montet was marked as national road 371 and finally graduated in 2006.
