Ajain is a French commune in the Creuse in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

Geography and infrastructure

The municipality borders on Roches to the north, Ladapeyre to the north-east, Pionnat to the south and south-east , Saint-Laurent and Sainte-Feyre to the south - west and Glénic to the north- west .

In addition to the main settlement, Ajain also includes the villages of Neuville and Rougnat.

Ajain is affected by the Route nationale 145 , combined with the European route 62 , and by the Creuse . To the north of the expressway are small lakes, including the Étang des Signolles and the Étang de Champroy.
