geography

It borders Vidaillat to the north, Le Monteil-au-Vicomte to the east, Royère-de-Vassivière to the south and Saint-Pardoux-Morterolles to the west . The stream called Tourtoulloux comes from the Compeix district.

history

Until 1829 Compeix and Saint-Pierre-le-Bost were two separate communities. They merged to become Saint-Pierre-Bellevue.
