It borders on Janaillat to the north, Sardent to the northeast, Pontarion to the east, Soubrebost to the southeast, Mansat-la-Courrière to the south, Saint-Dizier-Masbaraud with Masbaraud-Mérignat (point of contact) to the west Bosmoreau-les-Mines and in the northwest at Saint-Dizier-Masbaraud with Saint-Dizier-Leyrenne . The municipality is affected by the Taurion River .
