geography
It is bordered by Maisonnis in the north-west, Lépinas in the north, Le Donzeil in the north-east, Saint-Georges-la-Pouge in the south-east, Saint-Hilaire-le-Château in the south-west and Sardent in the west . To the north of the municipality is a 50-hectare lake that was created in 1319 - the Étang de la Chapelle .
