Bénévent-l'Abbaye is a commune in the French region Nouvelle-Aquitaine , in the department of Creuse and in the Arrondissement Guéret . It was the capital of the canton of Bénévent-l'Abbaye and was defeated to the canton of Le Grand-Bourg in 2015 .
