The Taurion (also: Thaurion ) is a river in the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It has its source in the Massif Central , on the Plateau de Millevaches . The source is about 800 meters above sea level, near Paillier , in the municipality of Gentioux-Pigerolles , in the middle of the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park . The river first drains to the northwest, then turns to the southwest and flows into the Vienne after 108 kilometers at Saint-Priest-Taurion as a right tributary .
