Saint-Martin-Terressus , in Occitan Sent Martin Tarrassos , is a commune in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Haute-Vienne department , the Limoges arrondissement and the Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat canton . The Taurion passes the town in the north. history
The place name "Sancti Martini Terre Sul" is proven from the 10th century. Later names were "Sancti Martini de Terrassus" and "Sancti Martini Terra Sudoris" around the year 1200.
