Bosmie-l'Aiguille ( Occitan : Bosc Mian ) is a French village with 2579 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Bosmie-l'Aiguille belongs to the arrondissement of Limoges and is part of the canton of Aixe-sur-Vienne . The inhabitants are called Bosmiauds .

geography

Bosmie-l'Aiguille is located about seven kilometers southwest of Limoges on the banks of the Vienne River , which borders the municipality to the north. To the east is the Briance River , which forms the municipal boundary. Bosmie-l'Aiguille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Isle in the north, Condat-sur-Vienne in the east and northeast, Jourgnac in the southeast, Burgnac in the south and southwest and Beynac in the west.
