Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe is about twelve kilometers west-southwest of Limoges . The river Vienne limits the municipality to the east. Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Yrieix-sous-Aixe in the north and north-west, Verneuil-sur-Vienne in the north and north-east, Aixe-sur-Vienne in the east and south-east, Séreilhac in the south and Cognac- la-Forêt to the west.
