Cheissoux , Occitan Chaisson la Chapela , is a French commune in the Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Limoges , to the canton of Eymoutiers and is a member of the Portes de Vassivière municipality . The municipality is located in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park . Cheissoux is bordered by Auriat to the north, Saint-Moreil to the northeast, Saint-Julien-le-Petit to the east, Bujaleuf to the south and Champnétery to the west . The Maulde passes the municipality marker at its southeasternmost point. The residents call themselves Cheissounauds or Cheissounaudes .
