Le Vigen ( Occitan : Lo Vijan ) is a French village with 2,171 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Limousin ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Limoges and is part of the canton of Condat-sur-Vienne (until 2015 Limoges-Condat ).

Le Vigen is located about nine kilometers south-southeast of Limoges on the Briance River . Le Vigen is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Limoges in the north, Feytiat in the northeast, Boisseuil in the east and northeast, Saint-Jean-Ligoure in the south and southeast, Saint-Maurice-les-Brousses in the southwest, Jourgnac in the west and southwest and Solignac in the west .
The A20 autoroute runs through the municipality on the northeastern edge .
