Le Châtenet-en-Dognon is a French commune in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine , in Haute-Vienne , in district Limoges and in the canton of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat . It borders in the north on Saint-Laurent-les-Églises , in the northeast on Saint-Martin-Sainte-Catherine , in the east on Sauviat-sur-Vige , in the southeast on Moissannes , in the south on Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat , im South-west on Royères and Saint-Priest-Taurion (point of contact) and in the west on Saint-Martin-Terressus .

The Taurion forms the border with Saint-Laurent-les-Églises.

The Via Lemovicensis , one of the four historical " Routes of the Pilgrims of St. James in France ", leads through Le Châtenet-en-Dognon.
