Geography and infrastructure
The municipality is located in the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park . The neighboring municipalities are Saint-Hilaire-les-Places in the north-west, Nexon in the north, Janailhac in the north-east, La Roche-l'Abeille in the east, Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in the south and Ladignac-le-Long in the west. La Meyze has a train station on the Nexon to Brive railway line . This is served by TER Limousin, a subsidiary of SNCF .
