Peyrilhac ( Occitan : Pairilhac ) is a municipality with 1270 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Peyrilhac is part of the canton of Couzeix (until 2015: canton of Nieul ) in the arrondissement of Limoges . The inhabitants are called Peyrilhacois .

Peyrilhac is about 16 kilometers northwest of Limoges . Peyrilhac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chamboret in the north, Nantiat in the northeast, Saint-Jouvent in the east, Nieul in the southeast, Saint-Gence in the south, Veyrac in the south and southwest, Oradour-sur-Glane in the southwest and Cieux in the west and northwest.
The national route 147 runs along the eastern edge of the municipality .
