Boisseuil ( Occitan : Boissuélh ) is a French municipality with 2928 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Limoges and the canton of Pierre-Buffière . The inhabitants are called Boisseuillais .

geography

Boisseuil is located on the Briance River , which forms the southern municipal boundary. Boisseuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Feytiat in the north, Eyjeaux in the east, Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval in the south and south-east and Le Vigen in the west and south-west.

The A20 autoroute runs through the municipality .
