Saint-Priest-Taurion ( Occitan : Sent Prech ) is a French village with 2,881 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Limoges and the canton of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat . The inhabitants are called Houliérois (es) .
geography
Saint-Priest-Taurion lies on the edge of the Monts d'Ambazac massif on the Taurion River , which flows into the Vienne here . Saint-Priest-Taurion is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ambazac in the north, Saint-Martin-Terressus in the east and northeast, Le Châtenet-en-Dognon in the east, Royères in the southeast, Saint-Just-le-Martel in the south, Le Palais- sur-Vienne in the south-west and Rilhac-Rancon in the west and south-west.
