Laurière , in Occitan "L'Auriéra", is a municipality in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Haute-Vienne department and the Limoges arrondissement . The neighboring municipalities are Bersac-sur-Rivalier in the north-west, Folles in the north, Fursac with Saint-Étienne-de-Fursac in the north-east, Arrènes in the east, Jabreilles-les-Bordes in the south-east and Saint-Sulpice-Laurière in the south and west. Laurière was the main town (chief-lieu) of the canton of the same name and became the canton of Ambazac in 2015 .

The former Route nationale 714 leads via Laurière.

The residents call themselves Lauriérois or Lauriéroises.
