The European route 62 is an approx. 1,300 kilometers long European route that runs from Nantes in France to Genoa , Italy . It runs through the Loire Valley via Limousin through the northern Auvergne and southern Bourgogne to Switzerland. There you cross Lake Geneva and cross the Swiss-Italian border over the Simplon Pass . Genoa in Liguria is finally reached through western Lombardy and Piedmont . The section through central France alone is not developed as a motorway.
